A manner of excuse

Well, the reason that I'm putting in my application horribly late is rather peculiar, it is in my best interest to fully explain it to you why that I am late but in fact from different perception it can be perceived as on time. However, I do believe you'd rather not waste such precious time you hardly have by listening to my rather peculiar reasons and to some it may actually seemed rather nonsensical. But I assure you, Victorians do not cock stories. Putting that aside, it is better that you just accept my application without further questioning me.
